Our Story

Our Love Story

Picture of Our Love Story

Over 20 years ago, life first brought Jermaine and I together at AT&T. At the time, we were nothing more than coworkers. We were both happily married and focused on our lives and families. I left AT&T in 2006 and moved on, never imagining our paths would cross again in such a meaningful way.

Life, however, has its own plans. I went through a divorce, and Jermaine faced the unimaginable heartbreak of losing his beloved wife. Despite our separate journeys, life brought us back together, this time in an entirely different way.

It all began with a simple inbox message. One day, Jermaine reached out to me. I’ll admit, I’m not usually one to entertain random messages—but this time, something told me to respond. And I’m so glad I did. What started as a casual conversation grew into something deeper—something neither of us expected but both of us needed.

It feels like our journeys were always meant to intersect again, this time not just as coworkers but as partners, friends, and soulmates. It’s a reminder that sometimes life’s timing may not make sense at first, but in the end, it unfolds exactly as it should.

Jermaine and I found love not in the beginning, but in a beautiful new chapter—a chapter filled with understanding, compassion, and a love built on everything we’ve experienced in our lives.

As we start this new chapter, it isn’t just about the two of us. Together, we’ve built a blended family filled with love and laughter. My two sons, Kobe and Kaleb (and we dare not forget Chase), have embraced this new chapter with me, and Jermaine’s daughter, Morgan, has added her own spark of joy to our lives. Watching our children connect and seeing how they fit into this new life we’re creating has been one of the greatest blessings of all.

This isn’t just a love story—it’s a family story. It’s about finding love and building a life together, not just for ourselves but for the beautiful family we’ve been blessed to share. Now, as we move forward, we’re writing the rest of our story together—hand in hand, as partners, parents, and soulmates. Forever.
